Hi all, Tolcon expects to sign the same contracts (piping and valves, hygienisation lines and flare) as for the deliveries to Hardanger for the next plant in Lista within the next two weeks. This will be an identical facility to the current one, with the same building layout. There may be some adjustments related to the location of the pump house due to local site conditions, but this will be clarified at a later stage. As mentioned earlier, we would also like to arrange a visit to AAT together with Vireo’s project director, Richard Kringlebotten. The plan is to combine the AAT visit with a couple of days of skiing in the Austrian Alps. Since Richard is a father of young children, the trip needs to be planned well in advance. We therefore wish to hear whether week 4 would be suitable for AAT. Below is an updated overview of the items we are awaiting from AAT for the ongoing Hardanger project. Functional description Tolcon has submitted a proposed functional description for the hygienisation lines. We are awaiting AAT’s review and quality assurance so that a final version can be forwarded to Vireo. Data sheets for components We are missing complete data sheets for all components supplied with the hygienisation lines. Valve and component lists We need complete component lists for both hygienisation lines, including: • Compensators • Manual valves • Actuated valves These are required to proceed with smaller equipment orders and to ensure proper coordination with other project packages. Completion of the hygienisation model AAT has received the feedback and the updated positioning of the hygienisation model relative to the overall model. We now need confirmation on when the model can be considered complete. This is becoming urgent, as Tolcon depends on the finalised model to produce isometric drawings and maintain progress in downstream project activities. Hygienisation tanks and building progress It will not be possible to delay the closing of the roof on the process building in order to wait for the hygienisation tanks, unless the tanks are present by mid-February (preliminary). The building has overlying floors, and the construction schedule cannot be postponed matching the tank delivery. Tolcon therefore assumes that the tanks will be delivered lying down due to transport limitations and that they will be erected inside the process building using suitable lifting equipment. We will organise this locally. A prerequisite for this is that the tanks are delivered ready for lifting without requiring modifications on site. We assume this is understood and accounted for in AAT’s planning. Flare system – proposed placement of Fiorentini slam shut valve Tolcon needs to know when we can expect to receive the complete detailed engineering package for the flare, including the updated model and the order confirmation. This information is required for project planning and for integrating the flare into our design and procurement schedule. Tolcon has proposed that the Fiorentini slam shut valve is installed as the final component after the pressure regulating valve in Nordsol’s system but before the last manual or actuated shut-off valve. With this configuration, the downstream pipework leading underground towards the flare can be kept in design pressure class PN10, with a line pressure of approximately 100 to 150 mbar. We would appreciate AAT’s feedback on this proposal, as we need to proceed with ordering the valve. We kindly ask for an update on the status of these items and a confirmation regarding the possibility of arranging the visit in week 4. Please let us know if you need any additional information or clarifications. Thanks for including J.S.Cock in the Hardanger project. We're ready to provide your quotation for the hygienisation lines and flare system components, but we need the final specifications from your engineering team. For the hygienisation lines (compensators, manual valves, and actuated valves), please provide: • Component quantities • Dimensions and pressure ratings • Body and seal material specifications • Actuation type for each valve For the Fiorentini slam-shut valve (flare system), we also need: • Dimension and pressure rating • Body and seal materials • Actuation specifications Once we receive these details, we'll prepare your quotation right away. Best regards, J.S.Cock A/S sales team
